Registered Nurse - Neuro Telemetry
Location: Chandler, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to neuro post-surgical and stroke patients
- Monitor and interpret EKGs with centralized telemetry support
- Maintain sterile technique during all procedures and patient care
- Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors for optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans after cranial and spine procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent neuro telemetry experience within the past 6 months
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
- Strong sterile technique skills with successful day-one exam performance
Knowledge & Skills
- EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
- Sterile field maintenance and technique
- Neuro post-op and stroke recovery protocols
- Patient ratios of 1:3-4 with supportive PCT coverage
- Centralized telemetry monitoring systems
