Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 1-4 hour call after a shift every week and weekend call from Friday evening to Sunday evening about every 5 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons during a wide range of cases including ortho, neuro, robotics, GYN, eyes, and ENT
Maintain sterile technique and support patient safety throughout every surgery
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced environment
Handle specialized equipment like the DaVinci Robot, stealth navigation, and O-arm with confidence

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
CST certification preferred but not required
Strong experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics procedures
Driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of Omaha and not be currently employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ortho ORIFs, total joints, and fracture repairs
Comfortable with neuro cases including craniotomies, ACDFs, and shunts
Robotics experience with the DaVinci system
Knowledge of GYN, eyes, ENT, and general surgery procedures
Ability to work 8 or 12 hour shifts and take scheduled call
