Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
- Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
- Administer non-titrating drips and manage patients on CPAP and high-flow oxygen
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including charge nurses, PCTs, RT, and pharmacy
- Float to other telemetry units as needed to support patient care across the hospital
- Complete required SIMs Lab training for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Strong EKG interpretation skills
- Cerner EMR experience
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac stepdown and post-surgical patient care
- Philips telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
- Non-titrating medication drips and oxygen therapy management
- Sterile field maintenance and infection prevention
- Floating across multiple telemetry units with adaptability
