Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and spinal surgeries
- Monitor and interpret EKGs while safely titrating critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
- Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver fast-paced, patient-centered care on a bustling 32-bed unit
- Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner while ensuring seamless bedside handoffs and continuity of care
- Float to sister tele units and ICU overflow as needed, showcasing adaptability and clinical excellence
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care nursing experience
- Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
- Neuro experience highly valued
Knowledge & Skills
- Confident EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia management
- Skilled in titrating cardiac and insulin drips
- Comfortable with central monitoring and tele overflow in ICU settings
- Proficient with Cerner EMR and WOW documentation
- Strong sterile technique for Foley and central-line procedures
