Pharmacy Technician
Location: Durango, Colorado
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 10-hour shifts including every other weekend, with shift times of 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM Monday-Friday, and 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday/Sunday/Holidays
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform sterile compounding with precision and care
- Manage Pyxis deliveries, inventory, and outdates to keep operations running smoothly
- Conduct crash cart checks and refills to ensure emergency readiness
- Handle phone triage and respond promptly to medication messages
- Support medication dispensing across ER, ICU, inpatient, imaging, cath lab, and hospice units
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care
Qualifications
- Active CPhT certification and Colorado Pharmacy Technician License required
- Experience with sterile compounding and hospital pharmacy operations
- Friendly, flexible, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work every other weekend and rotating shifts
Knowledge & Skills
- Sterile compounding techniques
- Pyxis system management and inventory control
- Crash cart management
- Epic EHR experience
- Strong communication and phone triage skills
- Ability to cover multiple hospital service areas
