Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-02-2026

End Date: 09-01-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third for days and every other for nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry with precision and care
Collaborate daily with providers, nurses, and fellow RTs to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float throughout the hospital to support diverse patient care needs and units
Manage ventilators including Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion systems while ensuring optimal patient comfort
Adapt quickly to varying levels of patient acuity and care requirements each shift

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS preferred
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside the 50-mile radius from the facility

Knowledge & Skills

Strong time management and organizational abilities
Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to continuously learn and grow
Proficiency with Drager, Servo I, Carefusion vents, Vision, V60, V30 BiPAPs, and Airvo2 high flow systems
