Location: Redwood City, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, occasional weekend shifts required
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, and Cardiology
- Deliver specialized therapy for orthopedic and total joint replacement patients
- Support ventilator-dependent patients in the ICU with skilled interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and mobility
- Adapt treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient population
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy license in California
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
- Strong background in orthopedics, total joints, and ICU/ventilator management
Knowledge & Skills
- Cerner EMR proficiency
- Experience across multiple specialties including MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Strong clinical judgment for complex cases
