Sonographer
Location: Durango, Colorado
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound exams that directly impact patient care
- Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver accurate imaging results
- Maintain equipment and ensure excellent image quality using Philips scanners
- Document studies thoroughly in Fuji EPIC for seamless patient records
Qualifications
- Active RDMS certification (General or OBGYN) required
- RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
- Current BLS certification
- Strong experience in General and OBGYN ultrasound; Vascular experience preferred
- Comfortable performing procedures and handling 8-10+ scans per day
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound techniques
- Proficiency with Philips ultrasound equipment
- Familiarity with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative radiology team
- Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach
