Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- Provide first assistant support in ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN cases
- Float between campuses as needed to support surgical teams
- Respond to call within 30 minutes when scheduled
- Collaborate with OR techs and charge nurses to ensure smooth case flow
Qualifications
- Active RNFA license in California
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong experience in ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN procedures
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Ability to scrub and assist in the operating room
Knowledge & Skills
- Robotics experience is a must-have skill
- Comfortable with ortho totals, scopes, and joint replacements
- Familiar with neuro spine, brain tumors, and VP shunts
- Knowledge of GYN oncology and robotic hysterectomies
- Vascular and general surgery case support
