Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips each shift
- Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath needs
- Collaborate with the care team on total joint replacement recovery
- Support patients recovering from CVA and TIA events
- Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to help where needed most
- Document care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to read and interpret basic telemetry strips
- Experience with total joint replacement patients preferred
- Familiarity with CVA and TIA patient care a plus
- Cerner experience recommended due to minimal orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Comfort with BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments
- Team collaboration with charge nurses and nursing assistants
- Flexibility to float between units as needed
