Registered Nurse - Cath Lab/ICU Nurse Manager
Location: Garden City, Kansas

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments with confidence and compassion
- Build a positive, supportive culture that empowers nursing staff to thrive
- Coordinate pre-procedure, recovery, and bedside procedural support for cardiac and vascular patients
- Mentor team members and enhance nursing competencies across both units
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and floating needs while ensuring excellent patient care
- Monitor and respond to critical drips, vents, and telemetry with expert clinical judgment
Qualifications
- Active RN license with 3 years of nursing experience
- 1 year of management experience and 1 year of clinical leadership experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency
- Strong background in critical care and telemetry
- Experience with vasoactive drips and moderate sedation preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in cardiac, vascular, EP, and IR procedures
- Skilled in managing vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
- Proficient with reading and confirming telemetry strips
- Comfortable floating to support other departments as needed
- Strong leadership presence with a passion for team development
