Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every third weekend required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care across antepartum, labor, triage, postpartum, and newborn stages
- Monitor and manage common drips including Pitocin, insulin, fluids, and antibiotics
- Collaborate with the charge nurse to ensure safe patient ratios of 1:2
- Support a small, close-knit unit with 100-125 births per year
- Assist with floating tasks in MedSurg when needed to support the broader team
Qualifications
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Must pass an open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
- Valid driver's license required due to 50-mile radius rule
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with Alaris IV pumps
- Comfortable working in a 4-bed LDRP unit
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for labor and delivery patients
- Ability to follow strict fingernail policy for patient safety
