Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
- Monitor and titrate critical medications like Magnesium and Oxytocin to ensure safe deliveries
- Support postpartum recovery by caring for mom-baby couplets with expert attention
- Collaborate with the surgical team during C-sections while advocating for the baby
- Float to other units when needed, offering a helping hand and building new skills
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Comfortable working independently in a rural setting with limited resources
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of LDRP protocols and AWHONN guidelines
- Experience with EFM systems and neonatal respiratory support
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly in a smaller hospital environment
