Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents with attention and professionalism
Administer medications safely and accurately, following facility protocols
Monitor and document vital signs and patient condition changes in a timely manner
Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings to the care team
Maintain clear, concise documentation in the resident chart and electronic records
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Support patient education and engage families with clear, empathetic communication

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license active in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain one
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current or willing to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Reliable, compassionate, and detail oriented — you take pride in quality care

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental nursing skills: medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
Patient assessment and basic clinical documentation
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Comfortable learning and using electronic medical records — EMR familiarity preferred
Time management and prioritization in a fast paced care environment
Good interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, families, and team members
