Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate psychiatric care to patients in a medical setting
Monitor and document patient behavior and mental health status
Administer medications and assist with therapeutic interventions
Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to support patient treatment plans
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner and other electronic systems
Support patients through daily activities and crisis intervention when needed

Qualifications

Current LPT license in California
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience with electronic health records preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Behavioral health charting and documentation
Patient communication and engagement
Core clinical skills for psychiatric care
Crisis intervention techniques
Electronic medical record systems including Cerner
