Location: Orwigsburg, PA

Start Date: 04-07-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem, 8.5-hour shifts; schedule varies as-needed. Start date: April 7, 2026. Exact start/end times and days are scheduled based on facility needs and will be provided during assignment confirmation.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care with compassion and attention to detail
Administer medications and treatments per care plan and protocol
Perform focused assessments and communicate changes to the care team
Accurately document patient information in charts and electronic records
Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and safety
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
Follow infection control and safety guidelines to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
Previous clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong training considered
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
Reliable, professional demeanor and strong communication skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
Infection control procedures and safe patient handling
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
