Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly
Perform focused patient assessments and communicate findings to the care team
Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting independence
Document care thoroughly in the medical record to ensure continuity
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (PA license required or eligible)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Strong clinical skills in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Effective communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Preference for previous LPN experience in long-term care or similar settings

Education

LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of medication administration and documentation best practices
Skill with patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and basic wound care
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced care environment
Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and team members
