Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with hiring manager)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor patient condition, report changes, and collaborate with the care team
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes with professionalism
Assist with procedures and comfort measures while keeping patient dignity front and center
Mentor and collaborate with peers to promote a positive clinical environment

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Pennsylvania required
Active Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with medication administration, wound care, and routine nursing assessments
Strong communication skills and a teamwork-first attitude
Prior clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program or equivalent diploma/certificate

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Infection control and safety protocols
Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
Professional bedside manner and effective communication with patients and families
