Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide administration of Fuji Synapse PACS, Fuji VNA, and Laurel Bridge Compass routing systems
• Optimize imaging workflows including DICOM routing, prefetching, and multi-site worklist design
• Troubleshoot and support RIS, PACS, and imaging workflow issues as part of daily operations
• Collaborate with IT and clinical teams on imaging-related EHR build, testing, and system upgrades
• Ensure all diagnostic imaging systems comply with HIPAA, security standards, and organizational policies
• Provide training to imaging staff, technologists, radiologists, and IT teams on system operations
• Manage imaging archive integrity, database accuracy, and storage lifecycle processes
• Partner with vendors like Fuji, Laurel Bridge, and VRad on system maintenance and new implementations

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in computer science, information management systems, or radiology/imaging required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• ARRT certification in one or more modalities required
• CT Certification (ARRT) preferred
• Certified PACS Administrator or CIIP certification preferred
• 3+ years experience working with imaging systems in a Diagnostic Imaging/Radiology setting
• 1+ year experience supporting and troubleshooting RIS within a Diagnostic Imaging/Radiology setting
• Experience with PACS and dictation system administration preferred

Education

• Associate's degree in computer science, information management systems, or radiology/imaging required
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiology and cardiology workflows across various modalities
• Understanding of medical imaging terminology and standards
• Proficiency with DICOM and HL7 standards
• Broad computer skill set with specialized radiology and IT knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Experience collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
