Location: Hilo, Hawaii

Start Date: 06-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Flexible Day or Night shifts, 3 12-hour shifts (36 hours) per week after orientation, plus 2 12-hour call shifts per 4-week roster period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver direct, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced ICU setting
Monitor critically ill patients and respond swiftly to changes in condition
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement treatment plans
Float to other critical care and step-down units as needed to support the broader team
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and ensure seamless hand-offs

Qualifications

Active Hawaii RN license by start date
Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
NIH Stroke Scale certification (or complete during orientation)
PALS preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical care assessment and intervention skills
Comfortable with Meditech electronic charting
Ability to adapt quickly to varying patient needs and unit demands
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
