Roles & Responsibilities

• Support electrophysiology procedures in the radiology setting with focused, patient-centered care
• Prepare and position patients, set up EP and radiology equipment, and ensure imaging quality
• Assist physicians and the care team during invasive cardiac procedures, anticipating needs and maintaining sterile technique
• Monitor patient status and cardiac rhythms, communicating findings clearly to the clinical team
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EP and radiology instrumentation
• Document procedures, patient information, and device usage accurately in the electronic record
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize workflow and deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in EP Tech or radiology-related clinical role (as stated)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Relevant cardiac or radiologic technologist certification preferred (e.g., ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent)
• State licensure or authorization to practice in Florida if required by role
• Comfort working in a fast-paced procedural environment and supporting invasive cardiac cases
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist, cardiovascular technologist, or related allied health program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with electrophysiology lab procedures and radiologic imaging techniques
• Competence operating EP and fluoroscopy equipment and monitoring systems
• Understanding of sterile field principles and patient preparation
• Basic ECG rhythm recognition and cardiac monitoring
• Accurate procedural documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) usage
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinating with biomedical/engineering teams
