CT Technologist - Outpatient

Location: Bozeman, Montana

Start Date: 06-22-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Day Shift, No call, no nights, no weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform CT exams and procedures that directly support accurate patient diagnoses
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff during complex imaging procedures
Operate advanced CT scanners while fine-tuning settings to produce crystal-clear images
Conduct routine quality control checks to keep equipment running at peak performance
Document every exam thoroughly to ensure seamless reporting and archiving
Retrieve and review orders quickly so patients receive timely care

Qualifications

ARRT certification and CT registry eligible
Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
Current American Heart Association BLS (or obtain within 60 days)
At least 2 years of radiology experience as a registered technologist
Preferred: 1 year post-graduation trauma radiology experience

Education

Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

CT procedures and cross-sectional anatomy expertise
Strong attention to detail when adjusting scan parameters
Clear and compassionate communication with patients and colleagues
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy outpatient setting
Comfortable learning new computer systems and imaging software
