Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and follow infection-control practices
Document care and observations clearly and promptly in patient records
Collaborate with nurses and multidisciplinary team members to support patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Ability to pass required background checks and facility screenings
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Dependable attendance and ability to work 12.5-hour shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of patient care fundamentals and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection prevention and standard precautions
Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility
Clear, timely documentation and effective teamwork skills
