Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care in an acute care setting
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility) while preserving dignity
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Support safe patient transfers and maintain infection control practices
Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team
Contribute to a positive patient experience through kindness, timeliness, and professionalism

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state recognized)
BLS/CPR certification required or obtained upon hire
Experience in acute care preferred; recent acute care exposure is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments
Ability to pass background checks and required facility screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with acute care workflows and basic clinical observations
Patient safety practices, infection control, and proper use of PPE
Basic documentation skills and electronic charting comfort
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
