Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests with precision and care
Analyze specimens to deliver accurate, timely results that guide patient care
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to support critical treatment decisions
Maintain quality control standards and ensure equipment is functioning optimally
Document findings clearly and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications

Active California Clinical Lab Scientist license required
ASCP or HEW certification required
Minimum 2 years of generalist experience in a clinical lab setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank
Ability to work independently during evening and weekend shifts
Familiarity with Point Click EMR system
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
