Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate total nursing care for an assigned group of residents during each shift
Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
Mentor and support nursing staff while serving as a resource for the unit
Collaborate with the Director to achieve department goals and quality outcomes
Provide compassionate education to patients and families about care and recovery
Step in administratively to keep the unit running smoothly when the Director is away

Qualifications

Active State of Maine or Compact RN license
BLS certification required
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
Charge nurse or leadership experience is a plus

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (2-year college)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and care planning abilities
Comfortable stepping into a Charge Nurse leadership role
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to compassionate, high-quality resident care
