Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts with call as needed, averaging 12 days per month including at least one weekend (Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM), 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and assist with cardiac and peripheral procedures including PCI and STEMI cases
Prepare and maintain sterile fields for invasive cardiac procedures
Collaborate with cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cases
Monitor patient status and equipment during procedures
Ensure proper documentation in Cerner EMR system
Respond to emergent cases with 30-minute call-back time

Qualifications

RCIS certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience
Proven scrub experience for PCI and STEMI procedures
Ability to scrub both cardiac and peripheral cases

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures
Experience with peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases
Knowledge of EVAR, carotid, and AV graft procedures
Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with 8 cases per day average
