Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem / Flexible days, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered personal care and support
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and positioning while following proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control practices
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Valid authorization to work in Pennsylvania and ability to pass background checks
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Comfortable assisting with lifting and transfers and working as part of a care team
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused with good communication skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of ADLs and basic nursing care procedures
Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Understanding of infection control and patient safety practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families
Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed nursing staff
