Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain appropriate staffing levels across clinical departments to ensure safe patient care
• Prioritize and coordinate clinical patient care during night hours, keeping operations running smoothly
• Intervene professionally in staff, patient, family or medical staff conflicts to de-escalate and resolve issues
• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, offering guidance and real-time decision making
• Perform triage and rapid clinical assessment when urgent situations arise
• Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams and escalate issues per policy
• Document incidents, staffing decisions and patient care activities accurately and promptly
• Promote a culture of safety, compassion and teamwork across the facility during night operations

Qualifications

• Current Washington RN license (required)
• BLS (required)
• ACLS (required)
• Minimum of 4 years recent clinical nursing experience (required)
• At least 1 year of demonstrated nursing leadership experience (preferred)
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong intervention and conflict management skills when dealing with staff, patients and families
