Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain appropriate staffing levels across clinical departments to ensure safe patient care
- Prioritize and coordinate clinical patient care during night hours, keeping operations running smoothly
- Intervene professionally in staff, patient, family or medical staff conflicts to de-escalate and resolve issues
- Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, offering guidance and real-time decision making
- Perform triage and rapid clinical assessment when urgent situations arise
- Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams and escalate issues per policy
- Document incidents, staffing decisions and patient care activities accurately and promptly
- Promote a culture of safety, compassion and teamwork across the facility during night operations
Qualifications
- Current Washington RN license (required)
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (required)
- Minimum of 4 years recent clinical nursing experience (required)
- At least 1 year of demonstrated nursing leadership experience (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong intervention and conflict management skills when dealing with staff, patients and families
