Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care on Medical OT-8HR, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
Perform focused nursing assessments and report changes in patient condition promptly
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute patient care plans
Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate, timely charting to support continuity of care and compliance

Qualifications

Current California LVN license (required)
BLS/CPR certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
Comfortable working Tuesday through Saturday 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Previous experience in a medical/surgical or acute care setting is a plus

Education

Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing program (LVN)
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
Patient assessment, documentation, and handoff communication
Infection control practices and safety protocols
Time management to handle a busy shift effectively
Empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and families
