Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced technology
Recognize and report dangerous arrhythmias to local nursing staff promptly
Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
Collaborate with the clinical command center team in a virtual hospital setting
Accurately document rhythm changes and communicate critical findings
Strive to improve department metrics and patient care quality

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms as pass/fail
Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
Strong candidates may have the 3-month education requirement waived
Must be available for 2-3 days of day shift orientation for night positions

Remote Cardiac Monitoring expertise
Arrhythmia Detection and EKG Interpretation
Cardiac Rhythm Recognition
Strong communication and protocol adherence
Ability to work independently in a centralized monitoring unit
