Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural hospital setting
Triage patients and serve as the baby catcher/transition nurse during deliveries
Monitor and titrate Pitocin drips to support safe labor progression
Collaborate with on-call providers to ensure timely responses during active labor
Support postpartum recovery and newborn care with a focus on family-centered nursing

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience with LDRP training
Ability to function independently as both a triage and delivery nurse

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in obstetric care
Comfortable working in a small, rural hospital environment
Experience with OBIX fetal monitoring system
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently
