Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized, compassionate care to our tiniest patients in a Level III NICU
Monitor and manage ventilators and central lines with confidence and expertise
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
Float to Mother-Baby or L&D units to support newborns and their families during transition
Follow AWHONN/NANN guidelines to deliver safe, evidence-based neonatal care
Serve as a safety advocate when floating house-wide as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least three years of NICU experience
Current BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working independently with neonatal populations
Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and central line care
Neonatal assessment and family-centered care
Floating between NICU, Mother-Baby, and L&D units
AWHONN/NANN staffing guidelines and best practices
