End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with weeknight call Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM every 2-3 days and weekend call Friday 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM Monday rotating every other weekend or full weekend coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties
Assist with general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotic procedures using the DaVinci Xi system
Collaborate with a tight-knit team in an 8-suite OR with endo and cysto rooms
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to support patient care needs
Respond to call within 30 minutes to ensure continuous surgical coverage
Maintain accurate documentation using the Surgical Information Systems EMR

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state
BLS certification required
Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience
Previous travel experience required
Robotics Xi experience essential
Trauma experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotic surgical procedures
Familiarity with DaVinci Xi robotic system
Ability to adapt quickly to new EMR systems like SIS
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float between nearby campuses
Reliable and committed to minimizing call-outs
