Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across both MedSurg and ER units, adapting quickly to patient needs
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while maintaining excellent continuity of care
Titrate critical drips including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed with precision
Start IVs, manage PICC lines and ports, and respond confidently to codes and traumas
Collaborate with hospitalists and the care team in a close-knit, independent environment
Float between departments to support patients from swing bed rehab to critical care transfers

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum one year of ER experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing support
Experience with Meditech EMR a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
Experience with insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed drips
Competence in emergency response including codes and trauma situations
Excellent communication and adaptability in a small-team setting
