Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
Support beautiful mom-baby couplets through postpartum recovery
Circulate during C-sections to ensure the safest arrival for newborns
Respond quickly to neonatal needs with NRP skills and resuscitation readiness
Collaborate with a tight-knit rural team where your independence truly matters

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural setting with limited resources

Knowledge & Skills

Strong Labor & Delivery and Postpartum expertise
Neonatal resuscitation and newborn care skills
Experience with Magnesium, Oxytocin, and other OB drips
Familiarity with OB Trace Vue EFM system
Ability to float to Med-Surg or ED when needed
