Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 - $33.6 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret heart rhythms with precision and care
Monitor up to 40+ patients using advanced GE Carescape technology
Build end-of-shift reports and manage patient admissions/discharges
Communicate critical findings to floor staff via desktop and mobile apps
Maintain accurate call logs while multitasking in a high-volume environment
Provide Virtual Sitter support as a cross-trained team member

Qualifications

Telemetry competent with proven cardiac rhythm analysis skills
Ability to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
Strong typing and computer proficiency
Excellent written and spoken English communication
Reliable attendance and professional demeanor under pressure
Comfortable working independently while staying calm in stressful situations

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac rhythm interpretation and analysis
GE Carescape monitoring system experience preferred
Medical terminology knowledge
Basic iPhone and desktop application skills
High-volume patient monitoring expertise
Detail-oriented multitasking abilities
