Location: Prescott, Arizona

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to telemetry patients including CHF, respiratory, GI, diabetic, and post-cath cases
Interpret cardiac telemetry strips and document findings each shift
Monitor and manage set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem
Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Float to East Campus or PCU when needed to support the broader care team
Deliver total joint replacement care with attention to patient comfort and recovery

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts
Experience reading basic telemetry strips and caring for CVA/TIA patients
Cerner experience preferred due to limited orientation
Total joint replacement care experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry strip interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
BLS and ACLS protocols
Cerner electronic health record system
Total joint replacement post-operative care
BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatment management
