Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients of all ages with pulmonary disorders
Perform diagnostic testing and analyze results to guide care
Set up and manage cardiopulmonary equipment for patient support
Gather and evaluate patient health data for accurate assessments
Administer prescribed medications and document all treatments
Manage airways through intubations, extubations, and tracheostomy care
Deliver emergency life support and respond to critical situations
Educate patients and the community on respiratory health

Qualifications

Current RRT credential required
Active New York state respiratory therapy license
BLS certification required
Strong patient assessment and airway management skills

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Airway management techniques
Diagnostic testing and equipment operation
Medication administration and documentation
Emergency response and life support procedures
Patient and community health education
