End Date: 09-13-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM including every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to stabilize critical patients quickly
Administer medications and monitor responses in fast-paced situations
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and next steps
Document assessments and interventions accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

Active Iowa RN license or compact license
BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Previous emergency department experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing protocols and rapid response techniques
Pediatric and adult patient assessment
Cardiac monitoring and advanced life support
Electronic health record documentation
