IR Technologist - Interventional Radiology
Location: Los Angeles, California
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with on-call rotation (1-2 weekends per month, 30-minute response time)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality interventional radiology procedures that directly impact patient outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver exceptional procedural care
- Operate advanced fluoroscopy equipment with precision and safety
- Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort throughout each procedure
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system
- Respond to on-call needs to support critical patient cases
Qualifications
- ARRT-VI certification required
- Current California Radiologic Technologist license
- Fluoro permit required
- BLS certification
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures and protocols
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy equipment and safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Clear communication and teamwork abilities
