Location: Redwood City, California
Start Date: 06-08-2026
End Date: 09-07-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care, ICU, MedSurg, oncology, and cardiology units
- Deliver specialized treatment for orthopedic and total joint patients
- Manage therapy for ventilated patients in the ICU setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Adapt treatment plans to meet the needs of a diverse patient population
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in California
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
- Strong background in orthopedics, total joints, and ICU/ventilator management
Knowledge & Skills
- Cerner EMR system proficiency
- Experience across multiple hospital units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, and Cardiology
- Ability to work with ventilated patients and complex medical conditions
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
