Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Float Pool
Location: Garden City, Kansas
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties
- Float between MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation units
- Monitor and manage patients on Heparin drips while maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6
- Collaborate with designated charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while upholding the highest clinical standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
- Neuro experience preferred
- Alaris pump and EPIC experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across diverse patient populations
- Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to varying unit needs
- Comfortable managing cardiac drips and stable long-term placement patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
