Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult ICU patients including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory distress cases
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing complex cardiac and sedation drips
- Titrate medications and adjust ventilator settings to support critically ill patients
- Collaborate with nurse aides and respiratory therapists to deliver seamless, team-based care
- Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed, maintaining excellent patient ratios and outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Strong telemetry monitoring and drip titration skills
- Ability to pass a 90% open-book skills exam during orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Drip titration for cardiac, insulin, and sedation medications
- Ventilator management from nasal cannula to full mechanical ventilation
- Critical thinking and rapid response in high-acuity settings
- Floating flexibility across ICU, PCU, and MedSurg units
