Registered Nurse - LDRP
Location: Canon City, Colorado
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts, self-scheduling with balanced schedule provided to manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call required per census
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
- Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
- Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with a close-knit team to support high-BMI, diabetic, and substance-use patients
- Float within Zone 1 when census is low to support sister departments and maintain excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Colorado or compact RN license
- Current ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications
- LDRP experience required
- Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently
- Willingness to take call and work rotating holidays
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
- Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
- Comfortable titrating multiple IV drips
- Team-oriented with flexibility to float within the zone
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking abilities
