Registered Nurse - L&D
Location: Pendleton, Oregon
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
- Independently manage patient assignments while supporting teammates as backup
- Titrate Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips with precision and safety
- Monitor fetal strips and maternal cardiac telemetry using centralized systems
- Stabilize newborns using ventilation and Bubble CPAP equipment when needed
- Float to other units as a helping hand when census fluctuates
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license or ability to obtain 90-day emergency license
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Strong experience in L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery
- Ability to work independently across all areas with minimal supervision
- Comfortable with rotating day and night 12-hour shifts

- AWHONN-compliant patient ratios
- Central fetal monitoring and maternal telemetry interpretation
- Titration of induction/augmentation and critical drips
- Newborn stabilization and transfer protocols
- Block scheduling and shift trading flexibility
