IR Technologist
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 05-29-2026
End Date: 08-28-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with rotational call after hours and weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures with precision and care
- Support physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cases
- Prepare and operate specialized imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure
- Collaborate with the radiology team across multiple campuses
Qualifications
- ARRT (RT)(R) certification preferred
- VI certification a plus
- Experience in interventional radiology procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities
Knowledge & Skills
- GE Innova and MedRad Injector systems
- Angiojet and GE Logic Book equipment
- Cerner/RadNet EMR documentation
- Dialysis catheter and IVC filter procedures
- TIPS and CT biopsy support
