Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every third weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum journey
- Monitor and manage antepartum, triage, labor, postpartum, and newborn patients with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Administer medications including Pitocin, insulin, fluids, and antibiotics using Alaris IV pumps
- Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
- Support a small, close-knit unit that welcomes 100-125 births each year
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP experience
- Must pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for labor and delivery patients
- Comfortable managing common drips and newborn care
- Ability to work every third weekend and adapt to a small-unit environment
- Willingness to assist in MedSurg when needed is a plus
