Location: Syracuse, New York

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 05-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend and holiday per department rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver rapid, life-saving interventions
Monitor patient conditions and respond swiftly to changes in the ER setting
Document assessments and treatments accurately using Epic EHR
Educate patients and families on next steps and follow-up care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in New York
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Prior Emergency Department experience preferred
Epic EHR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills in fast-paced environments
Ability to prioritize multiple patients and urgent situations
Clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
Comfort working every other weekend and holiday rotation
