Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Bay City, Michigan
Start Date: 06-15-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 60
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians to create individualized care plans that help patients return to optimal health
- Provide compassionate bedside nursing care while carrying out medical orders
- Delegate and oversee tasks for nursing assistants and support staff
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and adjust as needed
- Integrate evidence-based practices into daily patient care
- Facilitate patient conferences and discharge planning
- Precept and mentor new employees and students
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
Qualifications
- Active Michigan nursing license required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Comfortable floating to ED and Step-down units
- Travel experience preferred
- TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, or SCRN certifications are a plus
- Neuro surgical or open heart experience preferred
